How do I find my lost AVE Canada?

If you lose your AVE for travelling to Canada, you can contact the website where you made your application. If you have already used our services, please do not hesitate to contact us using the dedicated form.by indicating your name and using the email address from your submission. We will forward it to you again, at no extra cost.

Simply visit the official website of the Canadian governmentIf you did not go through a private agency or service provider for your application. To retrieve your AVE, you will need to enter your application number on the form. This number can be found in a confirmation that you received by email. If you are unable to find this application number, you can use the official website to fill in a contact form to ask the authorities for your AVE. Alternatively, you can contact a Canadian consulate to obtain your document. To avoid any hassle before you leave, it is advisable to have your electronic travel authorisation in paper format.

Note, however, that it is not mandatory toprint an AVEYour passport number will be matched automatically when you read your travel document on arrival in Canada.
